Why Shikamaru is Considered Genius? - Naruto

 How many of you like Shikamaru Nara? There's no doubt, many fans love him soo much since Shikamaru is a very quick thinker and even acts on it swiftly, whenever he battles with his opponent. Is he really smart? Yes, undoubtedly Shikamaru is extremely smart as he is from one of the renowned Nara clan which not only makes him special but also keeps the pride and legacy of his father Shikaku Nara. Since he was a child, Shikamaru hardly makes wrong projection as well as decisions. Even his father never stops him from doing anything whenever he makes a move.

Why Shikamaru is considered a genius? Shikamaru is considered genius in Naruto series because Shikamaru uses his head instead of physical strength especially when he faces enemies who is stronger to him. Moreover, his shadow possession jutsu is incredibly amazing as he can stunt the enemy keeping under his control for five minutes but it becomes shorter when he has to use on multiple objects and also he's one of the smartest characters because both parents of Shikamaru have the skills to work on laboratory research meaning both of them were highly intelligent. However, Shikamaru is also one of the laziest fellows. 

Shikamaru Versus Hidan

 To talk further about his IQ. It is said that he has IQ of 200 since his mother and father were special. Likewise, when Shikamaru hears his Sensei Asuma has been killed by Hidan and Kakuzu who were the Akatsuki members. Shikamaru can not bear the pain which was almost like hearing a nuclear to his eardrums. There after decides to avenge his one and only sensei. Shikamaru knew from the beginning itself that he can not beat Hidan in terms of strength after fighting with him once. Nevertheless, in his second fight with Hidan. Shikamaru takes Hidan in the middle of the forest and burries him under the ground making him into pieces.

 He burried Hidan because Hidan was immortal to die due to his ritual capability but Shikamaru figured out that Hidan's weakness that he also has normal human body. Therefore, it needs food and water to survive. Thus, at the end Shikamaru kills him by burring him under the ground and killed him as Hidan couldn't get food to eat and water to drink. Eventually, Hidan must have died due to starvation or dehydration. Additionally, Shikamaru keeps the legacy of Ino-Shika-Cho which was the power combination of his father and his friends farthers' ultimately made them unbeatable just like their parents as it is full of tricks one after another while initiating. Therefore, Shikamaru is considered as genius in Naruto.
