Well, Otohime is a golden mermaid who is in the size of average human and also a queen of the Ryugu kingdom. Otohime is the wife of King Neptune as well as a mother of Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, Manboshi, and the sweet and stunning princess Shirahoshi. 

The Queen Otohime of Ryugu Kingdom 

Otohime was a political woman who often thinks about the relationship between humans and fish-men. She even tries to create a beautiful bond between human and fish-men by consulting properly with humans. When Donquixote Mjosgard visited fishmen island ten years ago. In order to tormend and showoff the power of his nobility and Donquixote family. He failed to put it into actions due to protections and barriers. There was a twist and mystery in the scene regarding the death of the queen of Ryugu kingdom Otohime. 

Death of Queen Otohime 

As the time passed, the mastermind behind all those scenes was no other than Hody Jones. Once, who was the soldier of King Neptune. Who served the kingdom and the person who deeply admired Arlong. For having similar mindset with regards to humans. That is to mistread and also to destroy humans. To rule the Ryugu kingdom in the name of his own was his primary motive. Hody Jones made a plan by providing money to a human. Just to bare the blame and to run away from fishmen island. After assassination of the queen Otohime.

Nevertheless, Hody Jones was the prime player to assasinate the queen Otohime of the Ryugu kingdom. Because Hody Jones pays half payment and makes the deal to provide other half payment. When the work gets done. Nonetheless, when that man did the exact thing commanded by Hody Jones. In order to shoot queen Otohime apparently. And does the same things according to his plan. When the man comes to him to receive his half pay. Hody Jones shoots that man twice and proves to Ryugu kingdom that assassinater was no other than a human. Eventually, to create more hatred to humans rather than building bonds with humans.
