Team Akatsuki in Naruto

Akatsuki is an organization originally founded by Yahiko Uzumaki who was the best friend of Nagato Uzumaki. Akatsuki means dawn dawn/daybreak. 

Team Akatsuki

This group was primarily formed to create world peace. However, after the death of Yahiko. Nagato led the group and many new members were added. Now let's look at ten main members of Akatsuki.

10. Zetsu

Zetsu

Zetsu is actually real people but was mummified by mother Kaguya to make them perfect soldiers. Zetsu has two large Venus flytrap like extensions that envelope his head and upper body giving him a plant like appearance.

 
9. Hidan

Hidan

Hidan is highly religious and a disrespectful man. Often he complains about his allies and opponents alike. 

Hidan ability was inability to die. Thus, his immortality considered him as deadliest human as he can even talk even when he's beheaded.

 
8. Kakuzu

Kakuzu 

Kakuzu is a rogue Ninja from the hidden water village. Kakuzu increases his immortal lifespan by stealing heart from others to remain alive.
He also has strong steel threads running throughout his body.

7. Konan

Konan

Konan is the only female member of Akatsuki. Konan was in love with Yahiko since both Yahiko and Konan are like minded and also has same blood group.

Konan produces and folds enough paper to mimic environmental surroundings.

 
6. Sasori

Sasori

Sasori also known as Sosori of the red sand. Sosori is the grandson of Chiyo and a rogue Ninja from hidden sand village.

Sasori even kidnaps Third Kazekage and later makes him his own puppet adding to his collection.

5. Deidara

Deidara

Deidara was a former explosion corp of hidden stone village. Deidara is close to Sasori and looks up to him.

 
Deidara also fights with Sasuke because he was jealous of Itachi especially with his sharingan as once Deidara was defeated by Itachi at an instant.

 
4. Kisami Hoshigaki

Kisami Hoshigaki

Kisami Hoshigaki is one of the most powerful swordsman from Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the mist.

 
Kisami posseses Samehada that helps him to easily breath under water and his Samehada sword can also consume Chakra further increasing his power.

3. Itachi Uchiha

Itachi Uchiha

Itachi Uchiha is elder brother of Sasuke Uchiha. Itachi Uchiha takes chip on his shoulder regarding the Uchiha Clan. Thus, follows the order to devastate the whole Uchiha clan.

 
Itachi Uchiha posseses multiple nature elements such as fire, water and wind. He pretends not to care much about his brother Sasuke but deep inside he was in pain and constantly thought about his brother's safety.

2. Tobi/Obito

Obito/Tobi

Obito Uchiha was once in the same team with Kakashi and Ren followed by his Sensei Minato Namikaze. Obito shares the same eyes as Kakashi does since he gave him his left eye to Kakashi congratulating him for being Jonin.

However, he turns into evil once Madara takes him after his half body has been damaged by a boulder.

1. Pain Tendo

Pain Tendo

Originally known as Yahiko Uzumaki who was related to Naruto Uzumaki. Once he also was a student of Legendary Sanin Jiraiya. However, after his death Nagato reanimates him and forms the Six Path of Pain giving him a name Pain Tendo.

Pain Tendo destroys the hidden leaf village and has an ability such as massive almighty push and almighty pull.
